ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday submitted a reply on all the three questions of Judicial Commission accusing PML-N for planning and executing electoral rigging in 2013 elections. .
While answering the first question related to who had planned out the rigging, PTI stated that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N’s) political cell made the plan of rigging election as the party wanted to win at any cost. PTI also alleged PML-N’s supporters, companions, ROs, presiding officers and administration of manipulating election’s agenda.
PTI said that the election of 2013 was not transparent and fair.
‘The rigging planners presented their strategy to the PML-N leadership focusing on illegally grabbing the seats in Punjab and Balochistan whereas other political parties had also played their equal role in this act’, PTI responded.
On a question related to the rigging limitation, PTI revealed that the plan stressed on getting maximum seats in National Assembly (NA) but provincial assemblies especially Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan were also got affected by this illegitimate intention.
Responding to a question related to rigging evidence, PTI assured the JC to have submitted all the related material, videos and National Database and Regulatory Authority’s (NADRA’s) forensic report and urged the Chief Justice (CJ) Nasir-ul-Mulk to summoned Najam Sethi and Chief Secretary Punjab of that time for investigation as PTI holds right to inspect the results of audit forms14, 15, 16 and 17.
Subsequently, PTI affirmed to depend on the outcomes of investigation team.
Justice Ameer Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal under the supervision of Chief Justice (CJ) Nasir-ul-Mulk would review these replies during a session.
