ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday decided to remove Naeemul Haq as party spokesman.
Sources said that Fawad Chaudhry was appointed new Spokesman of the party. The decision to remove Haq and appoint Fawad Chaudhry as party spokesman was taken in a meeting of PTI leadership held at Bani Gala with party chairman Imran Khan in the chair.
Sources said that the notification of appointment of Chaudhry as spokesman would be issued by PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen. However, Naeemul Haq speaking to a private news channel said that no such decision has been made and he still holds the positions and added that Fawad will only assist in party’s defense in the media.
