PTI affecting economy, isolating country: Rashid

DNA23-51ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Imran Khan is imposing his point of view on others. He said that such mindset has already caused damage to the country.
Addressinga a press conference on Sunday he said that democracy is strengthening in the country as the nation showed unity and rejected autocratic mindset. He said people could not be left at the mercy of dictators, terrorists and elements who are imposing their manifesto on others by force.
He said the policies of PTI might isolate the country among the comity of nations as Imran Khan is damaging its image by following the path of violence for unconstitutional demands. He said long marches, sit-ins and politics of agitation caused a major dent to national economy and several world leaders postponed their visits to Pakistan after looking at the situation created by PTI.  He said recently heads of China, Qatar and Sri Lanka had postponed their scheduled visits to Pakistan due to the prevailing situation caused by PTI’s politics of agitation.
He said sit-ins and terrorism are keeping Pakistan’s friends and sympathizers away from it as they are avoiding visiting the country in the present circumstances.  He said PTI workers entered the Red Zone of the federal capital and attacked the national symbols like Prime Minister House, Parliament, Pakistan Secretariat and PTV, creating anarchy.
