The drafting process for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been completed, with many prominent cricketers failing to make it to the franchises’ squads.
Yesterday, the PSL 10 players’ drafting ceremony was held at Hazuri Bagh in Lahore, where franchise owners and team management formed their final squads through the draft.
In the players’ draft, franchises bid heavily for players and made many superstars part of their squads, including Australia’s David Warner, who was bought for a record price.

Karachi Kings added David Warner to their team for a fee of $300,000 (Rs. 83.6 million).
Apart from Warner, the world’s biggest cricketers including Shaun Abbott, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell and Finn Allen became part of various teams.

While the franchises made world-renowned players part of their squads, some cricketers missed out on making it to PSL 10.
