RAWALPINDI: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and former MNA Hanif Abbasi lauding the services of the Chief Minister Punjab for the people of province has said that provision of clean living environment to the citizens of Rawalpindi is part of the CM’s vision.
Talking to media persons during his visit to extension project of Murree Road to IJP Road (Double Road) Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Hanif Abbasi said that the city was being provided with latest facilities and technologies for facilitating the Rawalpindities.
The PML-N after visiting the project site, presided over a meeting during which he was briefed about the project in detail. The meeting was attended by DG Punjab Horticulture Authority Dr. Malik Abid, Director PHA Akram Souban, Deputy Director Umer Farooq, SDO Wapda Jan Fida and Director of the construction company working on the project, Chaudhry1 Adnan.
Director PHA informed Hanif Abbasi said that work on widening of road measuring 1.1 kilometer road at the cost of Rs160 million is in final stages. Work on lane marking and installation of cat eyes was left behind which would be completed by June 15 this year, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Hanif Abbasi directed the contractor to ensure quality and in time completion of the project as per vision of the CM Punjab. He said that Rawalpindi city was being beautified by construction of road and provision of latest facilities and completion of the underway projects will the life easier for the citizens.
