Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz asserted that Prophet Muhammad PBUH laid the foundation of human rights.
Addressing the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), Punjab CM stated that Prophet PBUH was the last prophet and merciful for the whole universe and here we were gathered here for the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
She highlighted that the West always boasted about human rights but it’s a proud moment for us that Prophet Muhammad SAW laid the foundation of human rights at Masjid e Nabvi which were followed across the world.
She urged parents to teach the teachings of the Prophet to their children as home learning provided guidance in this world and hereafter.
She also stressed on women education negating fatwas on women education, insisting that Prophet Muhammad SAW advocated for education and there was no discrimination of gender in it and we should follow it.
