Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman and head of the Pakistani parliamentary delegation Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called on US President Donald Trump to play an active role in bringing India to the table for comprehensive talks with Pakistan.
In an interview with foreign news agency AFP, Bilawal Bhutto said that while Pakistan is ready to talk about terrorism, the Kashmir issue should be at the center of any meaningful dialogue.
He warned that India is setting a dangerous precedent for the region by using terrorism as a justification for military action, which could destabilize the entire South Asia.
Bilawal Bhutto warned that the fate of one billion 700 million people in the region cannot be left in the hands of faceless non-state actors or subject to India’s so-called new normal.

According to an AFP analysis, President Trump has consistently expressed his desire to avoid a nuclear conflict and has also offered to facilitate talks between Pakistan and India at a neutral venue.
In another interview given to a Chinese media outlet in New York, Bilawal Bhutto accused India of deliberately undermining regional peace through illegal and unilateral aggression on Pakistani soil.
