ISLAMABAD, OCT 10 (DNA) – President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday felicitated Malala Yousafzai on winning Noble Peace Prize and said that Malala has made her parents, her colleagues, every proponent of girls’ right to education, and indeed the entire nation proud today.

In his felicitation message the President lauded the courage of young Malala who refused to be intimidated by the extremists and continued her struggle for girls’ right to education.

The President said that Malala Yousufzai is a symbol of courage and determination and symbolizes keenness of our girls to seek education for their real empowerment and rejection of all kinds of discrimination and exploitation.

The President expressed the hope that the conferment of the prestigious award would not only serve as a great recognition of Malala’s relentless struggle but would also inspire every Pakistani and indeed every supporter of girls’ right to education to make even greater effort for this noble cause.
