ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Husain Tuesday said CPEC will change the destiny of Balochistan which was termed a diamond by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Al Jinnah.
Addressing a ceremony in Quetta in connection with Quaid Day, he said the people and particularly the Baloch youth have played a pivotal role in the Freedom Struggle of Pakistan.
The President said even a single inch has not been molded in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor`s route.
He said the project will protect the interests of people in every part of the country including Balochistan.
Mamnoon Hussain said the performance of students of Balochistan particularly female students is highly appreciable in different competitive exams in the country.
He urged the students to follow in the footsteps of the Great Quaid.
Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed the determination to fully eliminate the menace of terrorism soon from the country.
Addressing a news conference in Quetta, he said terrorist incidents are gradually decreasing and law enforcement agencies will wipe out the menace through implementing the National Action Plan (NAP).
President said the government has shown best performance on economic front and it has retuned ten billion dollars amount out of fifteen billion dollars to the countries from which the loans was borrowed.
Replying to a question, he said that National Accountability Bureau is working effectively to eradicate menace of corruption from the country.
