<strong>ISLAMABAD (DNA):President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday attended the oath-taking ceremony of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in Kabul.</strong> <strong>Senior Pakistani politicians Asfandyar Wali Khan, Mehmood Achakzai and Aftab Sherpao also attended the ceremony.</strong> <strong>The Foreign Ministry says, “The President's participation in the inauguration ceremony underscores Pakistan's consistent support for peaceful democratic transition in Afghanistan." </strong> <strong>“The visit would also contribute to strengthening the fraternal ties between the two countries," the Foreign Ministry statement said.</strong> <strong>Some 200 foreign delegates attended the swearing ceremony of the Afghan President and the Chief Executive.</strong>
