LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the PPP would stage a comeback in the 2018 general elections as there was not possibility for the party to emerge victorious in the Local government elections in Punjab.
Addressing a function of Lahore High Court Bar Association and later talking to media, Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan expressed his dismay over that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was not serious before proceeding for US visit. He said Mr. Sharif during visit, should pay attention to Pak-US civil nuclear agreement and represent the whole nation instead of PML-N.
In reply to a question, the PPP senior leader strongly condemned the violent incidents carried by fanatic Hindu organisation Shiv Sena against Pakistan and Muslim. He said Shiv Sena has gone out of control and spreading Hindu extremism. He said the visit of BCP President Shahryar Khan was a good omen but India was bent upon not entering into sports competitions with Pakistan.
