LAHORE: Former President and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has asked all political forces to join hands for strengthening democracy and resolving problems facing the country.
He was talking to President of PML (Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and senior party leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, who called on him in Lahore on Sunday.
Asif Ali Zardari said that we believe in politics of reconciliation. He said an elected prime minister cannot be forced to resign through unconstitutional means.
He urged the PML (Q) leadership to play their part for strengthening the democratic system rather than the politics of agitation. INP
