ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator Raza Rabbani on Tuesday vowed not to allow United States United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to dictate Pakistan’s premier.
He made these remarks in Senate session.
Rabbani added gone are the days of rehashing ‘do more’ mantra.
Earlier, Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi reiterated committement to normalize ties with the United States under Trump’s unpredictable administration.
He said that Pakistan desires to turn its bilateral relations with the US towards improvement, adding that US Secretary of State is expected to visit Pakistan on the 5th of next month. NNI
