LONDON: Warning his rivals against pulling two-faced tricks on the government, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Tuesday held the ‘new politicians’ responsible for jeopardizing the state of Pakistan.
“What will Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan build without an agenda, team, and vision? Politics of lies never flies no matter what one may do keep the nation in dark,”, the prime minister said while talking to media here.
Sharif, who got off with a fire-breathing start against Khan, accused PTI of duplicity.
“From one corner of his mouth Khan talks about opening negotiations and from the other about closing down the country. This ‘double game (speak)’ has to stop if they really want to come to the table”, the prime minister said calling on the PTI leader to first at least build a ‘Naya Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.’
To a question, Sharif said that his government had never closed its doors to dialogue. Earlier, PM Sharif arrived in United Kingdom to attend a trilateral meeting on Afghanistan hosted by his British counterpart David Cameron. Agencies
