RAWALPINDI (INP): The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chairman Raja Zafrul Huque Sunday said that the political turmoil in the country has been orchestrated to pressurise the government to let former military ruler Pervez Musharraf escape from the country.

Talking to media here, Raja Zafrul Huque said that Pervez Musharraf was about to recognise Israel when he had met Israeli defence minister in London. He said Nawaz Sharif was the only leader who condemned Israeli barbarism in Gaza.

The PML-N chairman said that the government was being pressurised consistently for the release of Musharraf and the current political turmoil was one of the series of pressure tactics.

He further said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has no lust for power and added his party would also win next elections.

Without naming Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, he said those bent on ruining the country have no right to celebrate the Jashn-e-Azadi.
