FAISALABAD, Sept 19 (INP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Faisalabad on Friday approved Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Rana Shoaib Idrees’ bail against surety bonds worth Rs300,000 in policemen attack case.
ATC Judge Ishtiaq Ahmad was hearing the case. During the hearing, Idrees was produced before the court and PML-N MPA’s lawyer requested the court to grant bail to his client.
The Khurarianwala police on July 19 had registered a case against Idrees for attacking three police officials. Sub inspector of Jaranwala police station, Riyasat Ali was injured when Idrees and his men had barged into the police station and attacked the policemen. His men had freed three men from the police station, damaged furniture and demanded weapons from the police.
Despite denying allegations, police had arrested him.
