LAHORE: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Imran Babar Jamil in Lahore’s Kahna was held on Thursday over a 15-year-old girl who was allegedly raped.
According to the victim, the police officer molested and brutally assaulted her. The allegedly violated girl was shifted to hospital for medical treatment.
While talking to media, the accused DSP said that the victim has leveled allegations against him as he got call from a girl who requested him to help her and her sisters.
He said that the girl told him that there is a motel at Kalma Chowk where indecent activities are being held. He said that he went there as a civilian and asked for a room to investigate the incident.
Six to seven girls came in front of me and the waiter asked me to choose one, he added.
However, he pleaded innocence in the case. DSP Jamil termed the incident a conspiracy against him.
Police personnel launched an investigation into the incident after taking the accused into custody for interrogation. NNI
