KASUR: A police constable was martyred, while another injured and a robber killed after exchange of fire between police and robbers here on Friday.
According to details, the police approached a gang of robbers that was fleeing after committing a robbery in Raja Jang locality of Kasur. Upon sight of police party the robbers started firing which resulted in death of a police constable and left another critically injured.
In retaliatory action of police one robber identified as Waqas was killed while his accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
