ISLAMABAD: Police on Tuesday has baton charged doctors and paramedical staff as they marched towards Prime Minister (PM) Secretariat for demands regarding Health Risk Allowance. Several protesters were injured while many were arrested as space in front of the Secretariat presented a scene of a battle. Some medics attempted to cross barbed wire however, police failed all attempt. Lady police constables barred women protesters from entering the prohibited premises. The lady police dragged women protesters.
