MULTAN: The police on Friday arrested at least 70 criminals of 11 gangs and seized as many as 184 Kalashnikovs and Rs 10.5 million cash during search operations in different areas of Multan. Talking to media persons Additional Inspector General (AIG) Amjad Javed Saleemi said that the police have also seized at least 32 motorbikes from different areas. At least 11 criminals arrested were wanted in Sado Sam and Nawabpur banks robberies. The criminals are expected to make important confessions during interrogations. He said that the crackdown scale has been expanded to four districts to better law and order situation. He said that the cases of two murderers who killed policemen would be sent to the military courts for trial and the preparations for that have been completed. INP
