ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif surprised the participants by speaking fluently in German and Arabic at the inauguration ceremony of the World Bank’s Country Partnership Framework in Pakistan.
According to Express News, the Prime Minister spoke to World Bank Vice President Martin Zizer from Germany in German.
The Prime Minister thanked World Bank Vice President Martin Zizer for playing a key role in the formation of the Country Partnership Framework for the development of the Pakistani economy.
The Prime Minister reiterated the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to making the Country Partnership Framework a success and said that the Country Partnership Framework would bring development in education, health and other sectors in the country.
Shehbaz Sharif said that after economic stability, the country is now on the path of economic development.
The Prime Minister displayed his multilingual skills at the ceremony and spoke to the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in Arabic, which created a pleasant atmosphere.
