ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership on Wednesday lambasted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and said that its ‘Qatari story’ is over today.
Talking to newsmen outside Supreme Court, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen expressed satisfaction over the hearing of Panama Leaks case and announced that Qatari story build up by the premier has ended now.
He said that PM Nawaz’s speeches and documents were found contradictory.
‘There is no documentation given in court to justify PML-N’s 12 million dollars investment in Qatar. Neither did the Sharif’s earn anything from the sale of the Dubai mills as they were in deep losses at that time’, he added.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan talking to media said that ‘Nawaz Sharif-led Pakistan Muslim League is telling lies to the nation and the court to hide their corruption.’
Khan insisted that property worth billions of rupees was hidden by Sharif brothers abroad. Nawaz sold steel mills in Dubai and earned money, he claimed. He said Sharif brothers were changing stance for seven months in the Panama Papers case.
The PTI chief also demanded action against chairman National Accountability Bureau for ‘inaction’ against the prime minister and his family.
Meanwhile, Asad Umar said that all the lies told by Sharif family have been unveiled in the court. Fawad Chaudhry also highlighted the clashing statements of PML-N and said that the premier is not trustworthy.
