On Friday, Donald Blome, the US ambassador to Pakistan, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in person to discuss the two countries relations.
The ambassador’s presentation of credentials was commended by the prime minister, who also hoped that he would focus on strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and the US.
In this context, the prime minister emphasized the long-standing, historic relationships between the two nations and emphasized Pakistan’s intention to enhance those ties on the basis of mutual respect, trust, and interest.The prime minister emphasized that various dialogues established between Pakistan and the US had been playing a crucial part in bolstering their bilateral ties in the areas of trade, investment, IT (information technology), climate change, health, and energy while recalling the depth and breadth of the relationship between the two countries.
