Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should take suo motu against his Ministers if he has to resort to ‘Muk Mukka’ in order to save his government; this was stated by senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and leader of the opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah. Shah was responding to a question by Sardar Khan Niazi during an exclusive interview in Roze News program Sachi Baat. Shah added that the recent speeches by the Prime Minister had a hint of pessimism about them.

He said that Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif is weak because he has not given due importance to the parliament. Responding to a question by Sardar Khan Niazi as to why the Prime Minister didn’t make these speeches in the parliament Shah said that the Prime Ministers has seen the strength of the parliament. He said that it was the strength of the parliament that thwarted the attempts of Imran Khan during the 126-day long sit-in and saved the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) government. Shah emphasized that the parliament has immense strength. He also expressed his concerns regarding the recently signed LNG agreement with Qatar saying that the government has signed the contract with a private company and questioned the role of Saifur Rehman in the agreement. Shah also asked the Prime Minister to take notice of alleged corruption in the Rawalpindi

Commenting on the various mega projects of the incumbent government the PPP leader said that projects like the Lahore Orange Line Train Project eventually go into loss. He advised the government to spend on education and the internally displaced people instead. Criticizing Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the opposition leader said that the credit of terrorism free Punjab goes to the Punjab Chief Minister. He explained it by saying that it was Shehbaz Sharif who had pleaded with terrorists to spare Punjab. metro bus project.

Appreciating the work done by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif the opposition leader said that the whole nation has immense respect for the Army Chief. Commenting on terrorist activities in the country Shah said that the tree of terrorism was planted during the era of former President Gen Zia-ul-Haq and it will take time to get rid of this menace.
