ISLAMABAD (INP): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that his government is making arduous efforts to make Pakistan a highly conducive and attractive destination for foreign investments and that the steady appreciation in the Baseline Profitability Index (BPI) strongly signifies Pakistan as an attractive investment proposition, including a long term business association.
The Prime Minister said this during a meeting with Mr. Akiro Ohno, Chairman Morinaga Milk Industry Company. Morinaga Milk Co is a leading producer and seller of dairy products in Japan that specializes in milk, dairy-based beverages, yogurt, desserts, condensed milk, powdered milk, butter and cheese etc.
The Prime Minister asked the Japanese company to take advantage of the investment facilities and help Pakistan in milk product. He said Pakistan is the largest producer of milk and needs technology and know how to preserve the product and utilize it for the betterment of the people.
Mr. Akiro Ohno appreciated the investment friendly policies of the government and expressed his deep interest to expand their investment in Pakistan.
