ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, the government’s Kisan Package was to be implemented as planned, and Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, stated he would not accept any slack.The operationalization of the port was crucial for the development of Balochistan, so the prime minister also instructed the relevant authorities to ship 50% of the wheat and urea through Gwadar Port.
The government is providing a subsidy on the tube wells to farmers in the flood-affected areas, the prime minister announced while presiding over a review meeting on the implementation of the programme. In order to help the farmers plant the future harvest, he claimed that the government was providing them with every support imaginable at this difficult time.
Additionally, he gave the assurance that the government would do everything in its power to make the Gwadar Port operational. The implementation of the Kisan Package, tube well subsidies to farmers in flood-affected areas, and farmer assistance for the upcoming harvest were all covered in detail during the meeting with the prime minister.
The meeting was attended by senior authorities as well as federal ministers Tariq Bashir Cheema, Ishaq Dar, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, and Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of State Dr. Musaddiq Malik, and Advisor to PM Ahad Cheema.
