PM Nawaz to host farewell dinner in honour of outgoing General Raheel today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will host a farewell dinner in honour of the outgoing army chief, General Raheel Sharif, whose tenure is ending on November 28 in Islamabad today.

Well placed sources said on Wednesday that PM is hosting farewell dinner for the outgoing Army Chief at PM House at 8:00pm on Thursday (today). Formal invitation has been extended to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashid Mahmood, Air Chief, Air Marshal Sohail Aman, Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah, Director General Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar, some Federal Ministers and leaders of the key political parties. Sources further said that one-on-one meeting will also be held between the PM and the outgoing Army Chief during which COAS will forwards his recommendations to the Premier regarding appointment of new Army Chief.
