LAHORE : Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed anger over the non-elimination of corruption in Punjab and said that institutions should take concrete steps to eradicate corruption. According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has met members of the Assembly in Punjab and expressed his anger over non-elimination of corruption at the grassroots level in Punjab and said that what the institutions are doing to eradicate corruption in the province. He said that concrete steps should be taken to eradicate corruption in the province and I have heard a-lot about corruption in Mianwali, Lahore and other districts. During the meeting, Member of National Assembly (MNA) Riaz Fatyana requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide electricity to the areas which are without power. The Prime Minister while issuing the order said that it is true that there should be electricity in the areas where there is no electricity, the federal government and the provinces should work together for the supply of electricity so that the children can study. During the meeting, the members of assembly expressed reservations to Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar meets more often with members of the Provincial Assembly and with the members of the National Assembly (NA) and the problems of our constituencies are not being solved, they are deprived of development schemes. After hearing the concerns, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar to immediately address the concerns of the members of the Assembly and said that any confusion must be removed immediately. While agreeing with the members of National Assembly PM Imran directed Usman Buzdar to remove the grievances of the NA members and directed to start development schemes wherever possible.
