ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Health Saira Afzal Tarar has said that Prime Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme would improve the health indicators in the country.
Talking to PTV, she said that initially Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, two agencies of FATA, four districts of Punjab and Balochistan each would benefit from the programme.
Saira Afzal Tarar said the programme would bring change in the social and health sectors and initially 3,200,000 families would be provided health assistance in phases.
She said that the programme was fully government funded and not supported by any donor. NNI
