MUZAFFARGARH (INP): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured that government will compensate losses and rehabilitate the flood affected people in the country.
Talking to the flood victims in Muzaffargarh on Tuesday, he said government realizes their difficulties. He assured that they would be compensated soon for their damaged houses, crops, and livestock due to devastating floods.
On this occasion, the flood affectees informed the Prime Minister about their losses caused by the floods.
The Prime Minister said he fully shared their grief and assured them that the government will fulfill its responsibility to mitigate their suffering.
Nawaz Sharif said this natural calamity was sudden and the government has no control over it.
Earlier, on arrival at Muzaffargarh, the Prime Minister was briefed about the losses caused by the floods. He was informed that more than twenty-five thousand people have been shifted to safer places who were being provided relief and medical facilities.
