KARACHI (INP) PIA has so far airlifted more than 18,000 hajjis from Jeddah to Pakistan through 38 Post Hajj and Regular scheduled flights. PIA Spokesman said here on Wednesday.
PIA has operated 10 flights to Karachi carrying 3,700 Hajjis, 10 flights to Lahore carrying 4,500 Hajjis, 07 flights to Islamabad carrying 3,400 hajjis, 05 flights to Peshawar carrying 1,700 Hajjis and 06 flights to Quetta bringing back 2,000 Hajjis respectively.
Spokesperson said that the congestion at Jeddah hajj terminal is easing out and PIA hajj flights are departing on time
PIA officials deputed at Jeddah Hajj terminal are in constant touch with Hajj Ministry and Tours Operators for on time arrival of Hujjaj buses from Makkah.
As per directives of Chairman PIA, Muhammad Ali Gardezi and Managing Director PIA, Shahnawaz Rehman, PIA is providing best possible services to returning Hujjaj.
