RAWALPINDI: A photographic exhibition based on Pakistan Movement entitled ‘Roshni ka Safar’ was arranged by Rawalpindi Arts Council to mark Pakistan Day celebrations, which was inaugurated by Member Punjab Assembly Raja Hanif Advocate and Chairman Metropolitan Sardar Nasim accompanied by Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed here on Sunday. More than 200 rare photographs were put on display.
The aim of the exhibition was to highlight Muslims’ struggle for their homeland under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, MPA Raja Hanif Advocate said that Pakistan came into existence after great sacrifices our ancestors. He said that struggle for Pakistan is revealed clearly through this rare collection of Rawalpindi Arts Council.
Chairman Metropolitan Sardar Nasim said that Pakistan would progress to great height in the near future. Sardar Nasim congratulated RAC for conducting the unique exhibition.
Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed said that freedom of the nation was the result of the struggle of people involved in the Pakistan Movement. The exhibition will remain open for the general public until March 25.=DNA
