PESHAWAR, Jan 13 (INP): KPK Education Department on Tuesday suspended the school principal for opening the Pishtakhara Primary School without ensuring the security arrangements.

According to sources, school administration of Government Primary School opened the school without building the boundary walls and fulfilling other security arrangements. Children were busy in studying while sitting under the open sky.

Administration stated that more than 300 students have been enrolled in the school whereas the school walls have not been made since years.

Earlier, provincial government ordered to raise the school walls and appoint trained security guards. Government also directed the administration for not giving NOC to the schools lacking proper security arrangements but Pishtakhara primary school violated the instructions.

Assistant Education Officer suspended the school principal after the news broke on TV whereas students have been shifted to another school to continue their education.

School administration however said that despite repeated requests necessary funds were not provided for the boundary wall and other security related arrangements by the education department.
