PESHAWAR: The anti-terrorism court in Peshawar acquitted 30 accused including PTI leaders in the case of damaging government property during the May 9 protest. Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi, Kamran Bangash, Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Arbab Sher Ali War Irfan Saleem were acquitted in the case. The court pronounced the verdict after the arguments of the lawyers were completed, the accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence. A case was registered in Peshawar’s Khan Raziq Shaheed police station on May 9.
