Taunsa: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that people are happy with our government due to the reduction in inflation and other factors, so they do not heed the call for a sit-in.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Kachhi Canal project in Taunsa, she said that the Shahzad Sharif government deserves congratulations on the launch of this project, Shahbaz Sharif is taking steps to bring the four provinces closer in a good way.
She said that after many years, a good news comes out of Pakistan every day, during the last sixteen months of Shahbaz Sharif’s tenure, a voice used to come out every day and Pakistan’s enemies and our opponents were waiting to see when Pakistan would default.
He said that the news used to come every day that Pakistan would default today or tomorrow, today there is talk that the stock market has set a record, inflation has come down, due to which 250 million people are happy with our government, that is why people do not listen to the repeated calls for sit-ins and one after another their calls have failed because people are seeing that someone is working for them and their hearts are hurting.
He said that bread became cheaper during our era, remittances increased during our era, they are working on making electricity cheaper, whenever the people get facilities, laptops, roads and highways are built, there is a PML-N government.
Maryam Nawaz said that not only this, Shehzad Sharif has also improved relations with friendly countries because the previous government damaged relations with friendly countries for four years, created a mess in them and turned friends into enemies, but everyone saw the foreign policy restored in the Shanghai Conference, every few days the heads of other countries are coming to Pakistan.
He said that it is sad that even today these attacks have not stopped and are continuing brutally. Yesterday I saw a video and thought that someone had dubbed her voice but it was real. I could not believe the attack on Pakistan yesterday by a housewife who has nothing to do with politics. She attacked a friendly country that has always stood by Pakistan.
He said that terrorism alone is not an obstacle to development, but the attacks on Punjab from KP are scenes we have never seen in the 76-year history of Pakistan. These attacks are not being carried out by Khawarijis or terrorists, but by the KP government, the government of Punjab and the federation, and that too at a time when Pakistan is developing. Should we fight the enemies or our own people?
