KARACHI (NNI): Opposition leader Khursheed Shah on Friday said that former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and provincial government brought peace in Karachi.

Criticizing Sindh governor’s statement, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is not responsible for the success of Karachi operation.

On Thursday, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair had said Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif holds hundred percent credit for Karachi operation.

Muhammad Zubair said Raheel Sharif was a common man and normal general, but media gives credit of everything to him. Sindh governor further said that a perception has been created as if Raheel Sharif had dreamt of Karachi’s peace like Allama Iqbal.
