PAT releases detained policemen

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has released policemen taken hostage by the party workers on Saturday.  PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur talking on the occasion denied that the detained policemen brought to Minhaj ul Quran were not subjected to torture and said that the policemen are our brothers.  The policemen also confirmed the PAT leader’s statement and said that no one touched them during their detention. PAT leader while releasing the policemen demanded release of the arrested party workers. Punjab Police has arrested hundreds of the PAT workers during a massive crackdown against the party in the province.
