PESHAWAR: The death toll of Parachinar twin blasts surged to 50 as five more injured succumbed to their injuries during treatment on Saturday. It is to be mentioned here that twin back to back blasts in Tori Market in Parachinar had killed about 50 and injured 300 others. On Saturday, five injured of the blast succumbed to their injuries in different hospitals pushing the death toll to 50 in the blast.
Hospitals sources said that condition of some 30 injured of the blast, under treatment in district headquartered hospital and hospitals in Peshawar, is stated to be critical. The explosions occurred near Karman Adda, where a market and bus terminal are located. People traveling out of the city ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr were said to have been mostly affected by the twin bombings. The second explosion took place as rescuers and bystanders rushed to aid those who had been hurt in the first explosion.
