KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday has said that Pakistan’s position would have been different with timely implementation on National Action Plan (NAP).
In an interview to BBC, Bilawal suggested to make parliamentary committee of National Security Council (NSC) functional for check n balance in the country.
“With timely NAP implementation, India wouldn’t have any basis for accusations against Pakistan and Pakistan would have evidence to present about the steps taken by the country against extremism,” he added.
The PPP leader said that, “We need a proper system of accountability, where everyone should be made accountable. It would be better if accountability was done once so that everything would become clear.”
While criticizing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Bilawal said, “It was only established to pressurize political parties.” He also added that the departments are exceeding from their constitutional limits.
Responding to a question related to Indo-Pak tensions, Bilawal said that India is using Pulwama attack for political purposes.
