Pakistani student wins Commonwealth essay writing competition

ISLAMABAD, Sept 12 (DNA): Pakistani student Rania Hussain has won essay writing competition, 2014 held under the auspices of Royal Commonwealth Society.

According to a press release issued by the British High Commission here, Rania Hussain (15), resident of Lahore, has been declared as ‘Senior Winner’ of Commonwealth essay writing competition.

Rania’s essay centres round the story of an elderly fruit vendor who is impressed by the generosity and happiness of those who meet him. In the essay, Rania presented the picture of Pakistan.

Rania Hussain is currently studying at Lahore College of Arts and Science.

It may be noted that 9500 students of 44 Commonwealth countries and areas’ educational institutions had participated in this essay writing competition.=DNA
