ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy has also dispatched a frigate to evacuate stranded Pakistanis in Yemen.
According to a spokesman of Pakistan Navy, the frigate will facilitate the evacuation operation in the Gulf of Aden.
The boats were sent from Karachi port. Pakistanis will be transported to frigate through small boats at the Yemen port.
A second frigate ship will leave for Yemen this evening.
Two PIA jets have also been flown to Yemen to bring back 600 Pakistanis who are stranded in the war-torn Yemen.
Pakistani Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry told yesterday that Saudi Arabia has declared Yemen a no-fly zone and we are in constant touch with the Saudi authorities to allow our planes to land on any safe airport. NNI
