ISLAMABAD (PR): Pakistan Oil and Gas Promotion Conference was held in Beijing to showcase country’s abundant hydrocarbon potential to Chinese investors, says a press release received here.
The event was jointly arranged by the China Overseas Investment Union and Pakistan’s Embassy in Beijing.
Addressing the conference, Pakistan Ambassador to China, Masood Khalid invited the Chinese companies to explore and establish joint ventures with local petroleum companies as the success rate of oil and gas discovery in the Pakistan is encouraging.
Executive Director, China Overseas Investment Union, Zheng Shuai said he is hopeful that more Chinese companies would venture into Pakistan’s hydrocarbon sector.
