Pakistan determined to improve performance against Sri Lanka in ODIs

COLOMBO: After facing defeat in the Test series against Sri Lanka, Pakistan is all geared up to improve its performance up a notch in the One-Day (ODI) under the captaincy of Misbah-ul-Haq.

Pakistan cricket team has been preparing perform well after being clean swept by the Sri Lankans in two Test matches. Under the supervision of the batting coach, Pakistan team would try to overcome its weaknesses in the practice session. Team management has derived a strategy to strengthen the bowling line for the upcoming ODI series. The team has summoned fast bowler Muhammad Irfan to add strength to the One-Day squad.
National team captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who has not been able to score a single century in the past 140 ODIs, is very hopeful to perform well. Sri Lankan team on the other hand is determined to white wash Pakistan is the ODI series. Both the teams have faced each other 139 times; Pakistan has won 80 of them whereas Sri Lanka won 54 matches against Pakistan.
