Pakistan Cardiac Society to hold CardioCon 2014

KARACHI, Dec 15 (NNI): Pakistan Cardiac Society in collaboration with Cardiology Department, Civil Hospital Karachi, Dow University of Heath Sciences and American College of Cardiology is organizing 23rd Annual Conference of Pakistan Cardiac Society – CardioCon 2014 from December 25th – 27th December, at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.

The theme of the Conference is ”Creating healthy environment for healthy heart”. The Core Committee members of the Conference include Prof. Azhar Faruqui, Prof. Khalida Soomro, Prof. Nadeem Qamar, Prof. Hafeez Ullah, Prof. Khawar Kazmi and Dr. Najma Patel and other senior cardiologists.

The Conference of Pakistan Cardiac Society brings together healthcare professionals from all the disciplines of the cardiology, doctors, technicians and nurses and key opinion leaders. Leading Cardiologists from Pakistan and abroad will be presenting their research papers in the field of Cardiology during the 3-days Conference which would be cornerstone of the conference as its will focus on almost every aspect of the diseases.

The event focuses on the multifaceted issues confronted during cardiology and management. Annual CardioCon emphasizes upon evidence based practices, research as well as the development of new and advanced techniques in the field of cardiovascular medicine. The conference will offer an effective combination of lectures, case studies, live demonstrations and clinical innovations conducted by expert professionals in the field and also ignite discussions and debates on practical issues of daily practice.

The conference promises to showcase a use blend of academic research, seminar, public awareness seminar, hand-on- training and free papers and poster session. For the first time credit hours are being given by this Conference and it will entered in PMDC certificate.

The academic exchange of experiences with the experts in this Conference will provide impetus to increase the research efforts at all levels-clinical, laboratory and operational. Deliberations will be made to pave the way for improving and strengthening the diabetes health care. The proceedings of the Conference will provide a deep insight into the academic content of the Conference. NNI
