Prior to the opening T20 game of the Lahore leg, fast bowler Naseem Shah was given a pneumonia diagnosis on Wednesday.

Naseem was rushed to the hospital earlier today due to a chest infection-related high fever.

The top pacer is being watched by the medical team of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Seven matches totaling four in Karachi and three in Lahore are being played here between teams. At the Gaddafi Stadium, where the first game in Lahore is being played, Pakistan is batting against England in the first innings.
