ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that present government ‘s vision is to achieve sustainable economic growth by having major thrust on export sector, which is facing crisis due to myopic policies of the past and seeking the full support of the World Trade Organization in exports sector.
Talking to Director General WTO Roberto Azevedo in Islamabad, he said Pakistan eyes 150 billion dollars exports by 2025 under Vision-2025. He said WTO’s support can be instrumental to realize this goal.
Ahsan Iqbal said policies of the incumbent government have put the national economy on path to progress, which has also been acknowledged by international financial institutions.
