PESHAWAR: At least 13 suspected terrorists were killed when PAF fighter jets pounded several militant hideouts in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan on Wednesday morning, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
According to ISPR, five militant hideouts were also destroyed in the action.
The fresh aerial strikes took place two days after a U.S. drone strike in northwestern Shawal Valley killed at least five militants.
Earlier on May 14, 15 terrorists including some foreigners were killed in area ahead of Datta Khel in North Wazirastan.
North Waziristan is one of the seven regions in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) governed by tribal laws which is situated along the Pak-Afghan border and is rife with Taliban militant activity.
