Pakistan Airports Authority has decided to install airfield lighting for better night landing facilities at Turbat Airport.
According to PAA sources, the decision to install the modern system at Turbat Airport has been taken keeping in mind the difficulties in landing of planes at night.
The installation of specific lights will be done on the airport runway and adjoining areas, Pakistan Airports Authority has invited offers from interested companies for the installation of lights.
Once the lights are installed, flight captains will have better visibility during take-off and landing at night.
