Patriot Web Desk: Renowned columnist and analyst Orya Maqbool Jan Tuesday stirred a controversy after labeling the latest QMobile ad based around the story of a young girl who represents Pakistan women cricket team against her father’s wish as vulgar.

Speaking on a private television channel Orya Maqbool Jan objected to a specific scene in the advertisement and said that in the past censor board used to censor such scenes but now the board has taken no action against the ‘vulgar’ scene. He added that not even the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has taken notice of the advertisement.

However, social media users lambasted Orya for his stance. Many on Twitter condemned Orya in strong words. Orya has also hinted in the program that the point of view of terrorists should also be heard by the media.
