ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan says operations against terrorists will continue till elimination of the last terrorist.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Saturday, he said terrorists will be dealt with an iron hand. The Minister said the facilitators of Sehwan Sharif attack have been arrested from different parts of the country.
He said that Afghan government has been asked to take strict action against the terrorists wanted by Pakistan or hand them over to Pakistan to bring them to justice. Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said despite security challenges, Pakistan has been hosting millions of Afghan refugees for four decades, and now it is the responsibility of the refugees to identify the terrorist elements in their fold.
He demanded the refugees from Afghanistan to point out the ‘black sheep’ within them. Nisar said that further facilitators involved in Lahore suicide blast have also been arrested as a latest development. The Interior Minister professed that the facilitators in the recent wave of terrorism were arrested from the districts Attock, Hazro and Taxila. Also, Pak-Afghan border remains closed on third day owing to security concerns.
He urged political parties to avoid point-scoring on the issue of national security and play their due role for a secured Pakistan. He said the nation has rendered unprecedented sacrifices, which will not be let go in vain. NNI
